沙鳥地阿拉伯

沙烏地阿拉伯(KSA, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia)，地處於中東阿拉伯半島上，處於非洲與亞洲之交界。

這個鳥不生蛋，蛋不生鳥的半島上，除了沙烏地阿拉伯外，還有其它好多國家

比如：葉門、阿曼、阿拉伯聯合大公國(UAE, United Arab Emirates)、巴林、卡達等國。

KSA是個君主制國家，目前的國王好像是叫什麼阿布度拉的。

首都是叫利雅德，第二大城是吉達。

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, locates at the Arabian peninsula, which is between Asia and Africa.

There are several other countries beside the KSA at this peninsula, like Yemen, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar.

Now,  the KSA, as its name, is a monarchic country, the Kings name is  Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz.
Its capital is Riyadh, the second largest city is Jeddah.

傳說中的聖城「麥加」就位於吉達附近，也因此，吉達機場是朝盛人進出的門戶。

Jeddah is the nearest big city around the legendary "Mecca". Thus, it has become the entrance gate for the Pilgrimage crowds.

為了應付朝聖時大批的旅客，吉達機場分為好幾區，其中一區是屬與半開放空間，專門給朝聖者進出關使用，是由好幾百頂巨大帳蓬組成，相當狀觀(如左圖)。

and in order to handle all the crowds during the Pilgrimage

time, Jeddah international airport has been constructed to several different parts, one of those are only for pilgrims, which is assembling of hundreds of big tents.

當然，我沒那麼幸福，這次到達的不是UAE的杜拜，也不是舉辦杜哈亞運的卡達，也不是KSA的首都，而是從沒聽過的延布(Yanbu)。
Of course, Im not that lucky. This time Im not going to the glamorous Dubai in UAE, nor the capital of KSA. Instead, Im about to go to a city I've never heard before. Yanbu.

阿拉伯半島東邊是波斯灣，西邊是紅海。
我到達的城市Yanbu位在西岸紅海邊，吉達北方約略400公里處。

The west side of the Arabian peninsula is by the red sea, and the east side is by the Persian gulf. and Yanbu is at the west coast, just by the red sea, and is about 400km northern of Jeddah.


從吉達機場到延布是靠路運交通，以時速約130開在一條直直的快速道路，約要三個小時。
沿路景色幾乎不變，皆是如此！

The transfer from Jeddah to Yanbu is by road. For a 3 hour road trip, driving on the very straight express road at about 130km/h. the scenery does Not change at all.

三個小時後，終於抵達我們暫時落腳的旅館。

And we finally got to the "Four Star" hotel we are going to stay temporarily in Yanbu.
